I just recently got my copy of The Everlasting from the library and I really look forward to reading it. My 2026 reading goals are to read less (I'd like to be around 125-150 books), DNF more, and reading more of the books I own. That's crazy going from one direct report to four! That is such a great little story about your IRL bookclub and the new friend. I hope that your sinus infection gets better and that you have a great 2026. I looooved The Everlasting! Easily my favorite book of 2025. I've been surprised by how little I've seen it being talked about since its release, especially considering how much promotion it received before release.
